Hello gang,

The first adventure of  Tinkers is finishing here. I hope you enjoyed the ride and the end of this story arc. I had planned to end it on April 2nd. But I wanted to close March with a bunch of pages because you don’t deserve to wait any longer. Thank you all for being here, thank you to those who started supporting me from the beginning. Some of you stayed and some of you left, but it doesn’t matter, you were also very supportive.

Much effort and time I have spent in doing this project, specially translating everything that I wrote and making grammar mistakes. That’s why I appreciate all your support. Thank you so much to those ones who were always helping me to fix the dialogues. I promise you that you will be in the Thank You page. I want to mention, without making you feel bad, that if I finished this project, it was not for you but for me. If I had it done because of the readers I wouldn’t finished. Maybe I’d have feel depressed because of the lack of traffic visitors in order to be able to make my living doing this. Or maybe I didn’t get commented as much as I saw in other american webcomics, or maybe because I never reach the top 10 of the best comics, or perhaps because I never got a nomination, or whatever… for other things. All this went through my head and almost distracted me from my goal. Then I found the right motivation: to express what I feel and have fun doing it. However, sometimes I was worried to make you have a good time with the dialogues and Tinkers’ fun situations. I hope you spent a good time as well.

In advance, thanks for the understanding. But definitely you’re an important piece of this project because my work is done just if at least one person read it. Otherwise, it’s incomplete. So thanks for being here.

What is coming next is hard work. I want to draw a bunch of pages at the beginning. I also want to redraw and adjust some panels. Polish dialogues and prepare this work either to sell to a publisher or to print it myself.

Expect soon a sneak peek of the concept art  book of  Tinkers. I promise that the book is fun. I also hope I can print it or at least put it on sale via iTunes. That’s why it’s important to subscribe to the mailing list to get future news. Well I’m still deciding whether to go to work on the next adventure of Tinkers, or rest a little working on another project I have in mind. Whatever it is, future projects will have a short extension and not as long as this.

Hello gang,

What could be Milla’s goal in life? We’ll see it in the next update…

Definitely this has been a long journey, which has been teaching me a lot of things about telling stories. A project which I started as an experiment and I never put down my pen to stop even in the most difficult situations in my life. This arc is finishing very soon. Besides making comics is a tough work, I learned that I would like to do this the rest of my life. I really wish, so thanks for your support.

On the other hand, I cannot stop asking you to sign up to the mailing list ‘coz every time I’m saying this, more people is doing it. If you do it, you will receive in your inbox a sneak peek of the concept art book of Tinkers of the Wasteland. For those who already signed up. Fly? what  he is doing there? smells like danger…

I’m sorry for the delay, personal matters. Also, I’m sorry for saying this again but I have to continue encourage you to sign up the mailing list so you can receive a sneak peek of the concept art book of Tinkers of the Wasteland.

On the other hand, Tinkers is almost finishing. April 2nd is the estimate date! What it’s coming next is: A lot of work. I’m planning to draw around 10 new pages to complement the beginning What? more pages? this is madness. Also, I need to prepare the comic to be printed in order to keep my word for those who supported me in my webcomic camping. It’s gonna be black and white and as thick as an AKIRA manga book. So little by little it’s gonna be accomplished. I’m a multitask guy but be patient.

Watch out with the hungry mutated gorillas out there looking for their bananas.

Hi gang,

Sorry for the delay, personal matters.

Woo! More chikrons are around there. Honestly, Shin was a character that I sacrificed for the surprise factor. In fact I liked him a lot but I used him to track the main problem. Now Shin has mutated. How will he look like? Will we see him soon? we don’t know…

Well, the Shin alien species are characterized by the physical similarity, but their helmets make them look different from each other in appearance, as you can see it in one of these panels.

Moreover, since a big number of people have signed up the mailing list, which I am happy, I’m still motivated to ask those who have not, to do it now so you can receive in your inbox a link where you can download a preview of the concept art book of  Tinkers.

Hello gang,

Great that Milla couldn’t make a skirt for the robot…

By the way, I was wondering, how many days have passed since this story began? TWO! Three years of production and just two days passed. They are like those looooong days that sometimes we experience.

On the other hand, it could NOT be enough time for the chicken to get melted as we are seeing it but I skipped the reality for practical reasons. Thanks to Llufetsat for sharing the video of how to marinate a hamburger  with hydrochloric acid.

It’s about ten pages left to end this story so if you haven’t sign up in the mailing list to get a preview of the concept art book, What are you waiting for????

Hello survivors of the wastelands,

Hydrochloric Acid? Jeez!!!! I can’t imagine the pain of drowning in acid.

My intention was to make a plunger using a circus tent and a pole. However, I’m not sure about the sequence so I hope the idea is clear for you. Otherwise, let me know if it wasn’t clear so I can make some tweaks.

Hello Gang,

I’m sorry for the delay without warning. Personal issues.

However, the new update is here. Do you think the robot would look good with a skirt made by Milla? I don’t think so. So please, Milla don’t do that! Is this the end of the chikron? Does Milla would feel compassion toward this creature that came out of the space? Doubtful!

Hello gang,

Milla is mean and easily irritated, I know. So I hope tinkers can defeat the chicken. Where do you think is Shin? What is going to happen with him? He got a black seed!

Thanks to all of you who have been signing up in the mailing list. Once I finished designing the concept art book, I will show you the preview first than anybody else! On the other hand, if everything goes well. Tinkers are gonna finish in the middle of March and then I will add some new pages and make some tweaks in the art and dialogues. Also I’m gonna make the cover and print the book! More news about this you will get them in your inbox if you subscribe to the mailing list for those who haven’t done it yet.

A week ago someone (Greensister) in DeviantArt asked me if  Fly (the cannibal) is coming back. And I answered:

Fly is gonna appear later interacting with Milla but not in this arc of the story. Fly is a valuable character to me ‘cos he’s spontaneous and random. However, sometimes I believe that I like him because of his mystery and absence and is better keep him that way. Let’s see to where he’s taking us, tho.

But no worries! Some adventures are awaiting for Fly. I just hope I can be able to live doing Tinkers so I can draw more of their adventures.
